StockMKT... night of street food and music in Bermondsey

Victoria Stewart27 April 2012

Rest assured, this is not to do with bankers. StockMKT is a wonderful night market happening this Friday evening in Bermondsey Square.

After a hectic, freezing but successful pilot in December last year, the organisers have brought it back, this time with a bigger street food avenue, more craft stalls and music.

Bhangra Burger will be there selling his Indian spiced wraps, scotch eggs will be on hand from The Egg Boss, hot dogs from Big Apple Hot Dogs and Japanese pom pom dumplings. Finally, following a kebab tour of Turkey, comes real English kebabs at the all-new Kebab Kitchen headed up by top food bloggers James Ramsden and Oliver Thring.

Everything kicks off at 5pm, but arrive before 8pm for a guerrilla lighting display organised by the Light Collective.

Free entry tonight, 5.30pm-10pm Bermondsey Square SE1, thestockmkt.com
