What if Tarantino made spaghetti and meatballs?

Food artist and YouTuber David Ma makes recipe videos in the style of famous video directors

We all know what to expect from a Quentin Tarantino film: blood, violence and vengeance played out stylishly across our screens.

But what if Tarantino made spaghetti and meatballs, not movies?

That’s the aesthetic of food artist and Youtuber David Ma, whose recipe videos in the style of famous movie directors have gone viral.

Forget your cinema popcorn: these foods are getting the Hollywood treatment.

Think pink and marshmallow-soft for a playful Wes Anderson’s S’Mores recipe...

...butter and eggs floating elegantly through space for an Alfonso Alfonso Cuarón pancakes recipe...

...and bloody mince angrily pounded for Tarantino’s spaghetti.

Ma’s #FoodFilms have had thousands of views and come with a generous helping of satire: his Michael Bay waffles are as explosive as the Transformers films themselves, and never has a waffle maker looked quite so alive.

Hungry? We are.
