José Pizarro: A strong selection of Iberian classics

The Spanish chef introduces Iberian flair to the City
11 December 2017

The acclaimed Spanish chef’s third London outpost and first outside of Bermondsey, Pizarro City is a concrete-clad space in the heart of the City that marks a shift in location but not in culinary direction. Its elegant space – lengthy bar and sleek upholstery – will appeal to Hispanophiles and bankers alike with a blockbuster blend of authentic Spanish cooking.

Start with sharing plates of creamy croquetas, prawn fritters and tortilla before moving onto a meat-focused main selection that showcases some of Spain’s finest cuts of pork and beef as well as grilled turbot and standout cod dishes. As you’d expect, the wine list offers a strong selection of Iberian classics and be sure to leave room for one of London’s finest desserts - Pizarro’s chocolate pot with olive oil.
