A poster boy for industrial chic decor, Pizza East shook up the area when it took up residence in the Tea Building back in 2010 and is still a trusted spot for reliably good pizzas. The sleek, stripped-back space, run by the Soho House Group, provides a polished setting for a menu of rustic pizzas that feature daily specials.

With toppings including truffle and taleggio, veal meatballs or creamy burrata, these are elevated takes on the ubiquitous pizza and, when paired with Pizza East's substantial antipasti selection, standout desserts – including cannoli and cinnamon doughnuts – and cocktails, there's plenty to admire.
