Bleecker Street Burger (bleeckerburger.co.uk) has announced a summer pop-up on the South Bank, which will run from May 23 until the end of September.

The team – who recently opened their first restaurant in Spitalfields and continue to trade at markets around town – have converted a shipping container into a temporary home and found a spot for it near the Golden Jubilee bridges.

The pop-up restaurant will serve the full Bleecker Street menu as available in Spitalfields, including the Bleecker Blue (made with blue cheese) and the Bleecker Black (made with black pudding). Sides such as sweet potato fries and chilli-sauce slathered Angry Fries will also be available, along with their range of shakes.

The South Bank already houses a Wahaca restaurant (wahaca.co.uk) in a shipping container, while a little further south this month will also mark the launch of restaurant and retail hub Pop Brixton built entirely from shipping containers.
