Thought your Instagram of last night’s dinner was pretty good? Take a look at these.

The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition has announced its winners across its 24 categories, chronicling the journey of what we eat from farm to table.

Noor Ahmed Gelal from Bangladesh won the competition overall for his stunning photo of Hindus patiently waiting to break their day of fasting at a temple. The picture also won in the Food for Celebration category.

Other winners also included a photograph of Holborn Dining Room chef Calum Franklin, who was snapped carefully crafting some of his famous pies in the newly opened Pie Room by UK photographer John Carey. The photo took the top prize in the Food in Action category.

Elsewhere, highlights include an elegant close up of green beans by Andy Grimshaw, which won the Cream of the Crop category, and an image of fishermen casting their nets in a Bengal river by Debdatta Chakraborty, which claimed the top spot in the Bring Home the Harvest category.

The winners will go on display from today until April 29 at the Mall Galleries.
