Among a slew of harvest-inspired menus putting seasonal fare on plates at our favourite restaurants, Islington's Radici has just announced its own.

Chefs Francesco Mazzei and Neil Rankin of Temper fame have teamed up for next week's Wild Dinner, which will showcase autumn's finest produce and includes a demonstration by expert butcher Sal Dodaro.

Welcomed with cocktails and cicchetti, guests can expect a specially created menu by Rankin and Mazzei with more than a nod to the latter's south Italian heritage. Starters include bulls heart tomatoes, squid with black pepper romesco and wild boar ravioli, while Dodaro's butchery masterclass will culminate in a main course of lamb cooked over coals, which is served at a communal table alongside hearty glasses of Bordeaux before dessert is served.

Still not convinced? All proceeds from Radici's Wild Dinner will be donated to Action Against Hunger, making it a feast that comes high on feel-good factor.

The event is priced at £35pp including the meal, a welcome cocktail and a glass of wine. It is part of D&D London's month-long Wild Table campaign showcasing game, truffles and more bang-in-season autumnal produce across London. Tickets are available here.
