Free steaks for all at Flat Iron in Shoreditch tonight

Today marks the opening of London’s fourth branch of Flat Iron, which is known for serving steaks for a tenner.

But at the new Shoreditch site, they’ll cost exactly £10 less than that tonight, with the team serving them for nothing to celebrate their launch.

Diners will be treated to a complimentary flat iron steak and a side dish, meaning they only need to pay for any drinks and extra sides.

The only catch is that to get your steak you’ll likely have to queue — the team ran the same offer when they launched in Covent Garden and it proved incredibly popular with lines down the street.

If you want in, you had probably best get there early.

This latest restaurant sits on Curtain Road and joins two branches in Soho, on Beak Street and Denmark Street, and one in Covent Garden on Henrietta Street.

Along with the same offerings as the other branches, the Shoreditch restaurant will feature a wood ember roasting hearth for cooking larger cuts of meat and will also offer cups of coffee from Red Roaster for just £1 during the day. Along with plenty of sockets and good wifi. That is set to make it fairly popular with London’s freelancers.
