Having a field day: New all-day dining restaurant from Farmer J is coming to City

On September 3, Farmer J will open a new all-day dining site in City.

The second brand from Farmer J will open on King William Street, a stone’s throw from the bustling Monument tube station.

Jonathan Recanti, founder of Famer J told Standard “We’re really looking forward to opening our new home at King William Street as it’s such a buzzing area, especially with the new Bloomberg Arcade just around the corner.”

As for the food, Farmer J will be offering their signature Fieldtrays for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, diners can choose from salt beef hash browns, charred flank steak, and spicy shakshuka for their tray accompanied by sourdough toast and house pickles.

For lunch, there's Harissa chicken, charred tofu steak and roasted cauliflower on offer, which come with grains, two side dishes and a sauce.

The Farmer J brand pride themselves on using natural ingredients and fresh produce and they’re true to their word, with 90 per cent of the food freshly prepared on site

Recanti said “We will also have a host of grab-and-go goodies, from protein packed smoothies, freshly made juices, to sourdough pastries from Fortified Bakery. “

“We will also be launching our new coffee collaboration, with the Redemption roasters."

In the evening, the space will be open until late and will play old school anthems on the record player. Guests can opt for a signature Farmer cocktail as well as larger, ales and kombucha (fermented tea) on tap.
