Pachamama: Mum's the word at this Peruvian Pisco bar

This cocktail-centric restaurant and bar is a little less mumsy, a little more Stacy’s Mom
Bright: Peruvian dishes at Pachamama

Whether you’re missing mum’s cooking, or are looking for anything but, Pachamama is serving up a dose of Andean motherly-love.

Named after the Incan “Mother Nature” goddess, this Marylebone restaurant and bar is less mumsy, more Stacy’s Mom. This cocktail-centric eatery is as much about the fun as it is the food, with a lively vibe insatiable via the South American theme.

Pisco – the Peruvian grape brandy – is the spirit of choice at the bar. You come for the Pisco Sour but stay for the rest of both Mama and Papa’s cocktail lists, showing off many merits of the lesser known beverage.

Peruvian drinks come with Peruvian food, served up in sharing dishes, perfect for picking through alongside your Pisco, or for feasting upon generously.

The sea bass ceviche, cured in tiger’s milk with samphire and sugar snaps is a highlight, or for a taste of the heartier notes of Andean cooking, share a aji panca and chimichurri doused leg of lamb with your Pisco partner.
