Award-winning chef Wolfgang Puck is bringing a taste of California to Mayfair this summer.

Marking the 35th anniversary of Chinois on Main in Santa Monica, the three day pop-up from June 27 to 29 will bring Puck’s characteristic fusion of Asian flavours with French techniques.

The pop-up will be hosted in CUT at 45 Park Lane, Puck’s first restaurant in Europe located in Dorchester Collection’s hotel 45 Park Lane, where he and executive chef David McIntyre will present signature dishes from the original 1983 menu.

Diners can order a la carte at lunch, while family style tasting menus will be offered at lunch and dinner. Expect Shanghai lobster, grilled Szechwan beef and broiled Japanese black cod.

McIntyre said: “I can’t wait to bring Chinois to London, it’s the place everyone goes for Asian fusion in Santa Monica. I’ll be putting a contemporary take on the most popular dishes from the restaurant’s original menu.”

The tasting menu will start from £90 and à la carte dishes from £18.
