Harry Potter has cast a spell over the property market with three houses linked to the blockbusting film franchise on the market at the same time.

Hermione Granger’s house is the latest property up for grabs. A six-bedroom detached property in the prized Muggle area of Hampstead Garden Suburb is on sale for £2.4 million.

The 2490sq ft three storey house served as Hermione’s dentist parents' home and features prominently at the start of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1.

Just minutes from the Hampstead Heath Extension (a perfect area for covert apparitions), it is on the market for the first time in 60 years.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, can be seen walking out of the house and through the peaceful cul-de-sac after erasing her parents’ memories so she can go and fight Voldemort in the penultimate instalment of the film franchise.

News of the sale comes just a week after the manicured suburban house (complete with cupboard-under-the-stairs) that featured as Harry’s childhood home, Number Four Privet Drive, in the in the first Harry Potter film went on for sale for £475,000.

The three-bedroom house in Martins Heron, Bracknell, was cast as the "perfectly ordinary house on a perfectly ordinary street" for the 2001 film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

But you’ll need to raid Gringotts if you want to snap up yet another of Harry’s childhood homes: the four-bedroom house in Fulham where Danielle Radcliffe, the actor who played The Boy Who Lived, grew up is now on Chestertons’ books for £1.4 million.

The Harry Potter actor, now starring as an undercover FBI agent in Imperium, lived there with his family until he was 12 years old. The house has been previously listed at £1.45 million but failed to find a buyer despite its magical connections.
