Apex reckons 180,000 homes could be added to London's housing supply this way.

Craning pre-fabricated new homes into place in “unused airspace” above existing apartment blocks is one way to help with London’s housing shortage.

Rooftop developer Apex reckons 180,000 homes could be added to the capital’s housing supply.

Often there is a dividend for home owners living below as the block gets refurbished as part of the deal.

At Messenger Court in Putney, developer Fruition Properties has added smart, contemporary-design new apartments that are a step up in quality for the area.

Prices from £600,000. Call 020 3828 0128 for more.
