Stuart McAlpine Miller’s Pop Art defines not only the style of the refurbished Savoy, where his portraits of famous past guests adorn the hotel’s Thames Foyer, it also graces his Perthshire home.

The Gart, a 19th-century Scottish baronial house with 13 bedrooms and 12 acres, is for sale priced £1.75 million with Savills.

In the last two years, Miller and his designer wife Nikki revamped the interiors with flamboyance, treating it as they would many of the London exhibition spaces they’ve transformed.

“We wanted to create an art gallery within the house, so we wanted to have a lot of wall space and be considerate throughout with colour,” says Nikki.

There is a 100ft reception room with log fire, a morning room with a grand piano, a library and a whisky bar.

One turret is a cinema and the basement houses a gym and office.
