Alice Cooper appears through the looking glass in a 4D hologram first at Battersea

12 April 2012

Alice Cooper will star in the world's first holographic 4D rock concert at Battersea Power Station with his original surviving band members.

It will be the first time the line-up has "appeared" in the UK since 1972. The gig will be shot in a Hollywood studio and beamed onto an eight-metre stage in London. To the audience, it will look as if they are watching the band perform in front of them. The 4D elements will include the audience being showered with balloons and feathers, and icy blasts chilling the crowd as holographic snow falls on stage.

The 63-year-old singer described it as "the ultimate experience, a cutting-edge conjuring trick." Just 800 tickets will be made available for the Jägermeister Ice Cold Event at Battersea on May 11.
