CHINA'S second-largest fixed-line phone firm, China Netcom, said on Thursday that it planned to issue 5bn yuan (£363m) in corporate bonds this year in order to fund network expansions ahead of an overseas listing next year. The bank said it awaiting regulatory approval for the issue.
