Countdown's new star

A 22-YEAR-OLD Oxford maths graduate was unveiled as the new face of Countdown today.
Rachel Riley, of Southend, follows in the footsteps of Carol Vorderman.
She will work alongside Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling, who succeeds Des O'Connor in the new series of the Channel 4 show starting in January. Miss Riley, who graduated from Oriel College this year, beat five other applicants in a screen test.
She said: "This is the best graduate job in the world. There's only one cool maths job around and I was lucky enough to get it."
