Ex-girlfriend's stinging revenge on Vespa

Vespa: Daubed with insults
13 April 2012

An angry girlfriend took revenge on her partner by publicly scrawling insults all over his scooter.

The unnamed woman used permanent black marker pen to deface the Vespa - which means wasp in Italian - while attracting a crowd of 20 onlookers. The graffiti, pictured, reads: "The owner of this Vespa ruined my life" and "Evil man".

Marketeer Lewis Hill, who saw the moped parked in Heath Street in Hampstead, could not get past the crowds. Mr Hill, 31, said: "There were gasps but mainly smiling and giggling - the blokes less so. I had to take a picture. I would definitely keep on the right side of her."
