Fashion 'tires of London'

The Tired of London's C-charge shirt

Samuel Johnson once said, 'if you're tired of London, then you're tired of life'. But, now it would seem, if you're tired of London you're actually at the cutting edge of the fashion industry.

For a group of London designers, fed up with the daily grind of life in London and now living in the country, has launched a new clothing label focusing on snapshots of London life.

The 'Tired of London' range features T-shirt designs reflecting the congestion charge, gun crime and the plight of homeless.

The idea behind the range resulted from an agonising two hour phone battle by designer Jane Challen to pay her congestion charge.

'Rather than get frustrated, we produced a t-shirt design,' she said.

'Surprisingly, most have gone to tourists in the capital and we even had an order from the US.'

Tired is also looking for London celebrities to help endorse their idea, with the aim to give a percentage of sales back to a charity and help with bedding and food.
