Green places to stay in London mapped out

Green choice: The map features the Savoy, which is fitted with energy saving devices
12 April 2012

The first "green" map of London is being launched to find the most environmentally-friendly hotels, restaurants and shops.

It recommends The Savoy, which is fitted with energy-saving devices, the Zetter, which has a borehole providing spring water and the Lancaster which serves honey from its rooftop hive.

The Bumpkin in Notting Hill and the Duke of Cambridge in Islington are suggested as places to eat.

Shops include Eco Age, run by Colin Firth's wife Livia in Chiswick, and Born, in Stoke Newington, which sells organic toys.

The map can be downloaded tomorrow at enjoyengland.com/greenlondon
