India PM hits out at 'new Gandhi'

India's prime minister lashed out today at a Gandhi-style crusader who is on hunger strike.

Manmohan Singh accused Anna Hazare, 74, who wants stronger anti-corruption laws, of trying to circumvent democracy. Mr Singh was booed by MPs and thousands of people protested at the Delhi jail where Mr Hazare is being held.
