Kelly Brook dresses up for bike ride with Boris

Kelly Brook turned out in six-inch stilettos and a mini dress as she joined Mayor Boris Johnson on a cycle ride in central London.

The model and actress, who this month appeared wearing very little in an advert for Reebok and pictures for Playboy, today wore a floral frock to promote the second London Sky Ride taking place on Sunday.

Many of London's roads will be traffic-free between 9.30am and 4.30pm to enable free access for cyclists to ride straight past many of the capital's landmarks.

Brook said: "It's brilliant. I did it last year, it's for all ages, all abilities and it's such a lovely day out.

"It's very social and even if you're not a keen cyclist it's just a great day for family and friends."

Mr Johnson said: "London is in the midst of a two wheeled revolution and Sky Ride promises to add to our aim of making the capital the epicentre of pedal power. Being able to cycle on traffic free streets past some of the world's most iconic sights is sheer bliss for anyone with a love of our great city or the bicycle."

This year's 15km circular route includes more of the capital's attractions, taking cyclists through Parliament Square as well as past Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.

Sky Ride ambassador Olympic gold medal winner Sir Chris Hoy said: "It's always something extra special experiencing one of the world's most exciting cities in a unique traffic-free environment and I hope to see even more people coming down on September 5."
