A businessman facing extradition to France over the murder of his millionaire girlfriend will appear in court today.

A European arrest warrant was issued for Ian Griffin, 40, after the body of Kinga Legg, 36, was found in a Paris hotel in May.

She died from internal bleeding in the bathroom of the couple's suite at the £1,000-a-night Hotel Le Bristol.

Griffin, who was arrested in Cheshire a week after Ms Legg was found dead, will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates Court in London.
