Man in court on murder charge

A man was due in court today charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a north London flat last month.
Police found Beata Slomiana's body in a flat above shops in Ballards Lane in Finchley on 8 September. Ms Slomiana, 33, was originally from Poland.
A post-mortem examination was inconclusive and officers are waiting for results of further tests, including toxicology reports.
Last night Asaad Abdel-All, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with her murder. He was due to appear before City of Westminster magistrates' court today.
