New Star builds CRC stake

FUND manager Patrick Evershed has bought 50,000 shares in CRC, the electronics repairs specialist. This takes his New Star Select Opportunities unit trust's holding to 330,000 shares, or 1.4%.

CRC's shares fell to 73p last year after mobile phones giant Nokia cut back a contract. There are now signs demand is improving and the shares are up to 161 1/2p.
