Now women can get 'Jolie' lips in their lunch hour

Tim Stewart13 April 2012

WOMEN wanting Angelina Jolie-style "bee-stung" lips are being offered a new cosmetic treatment that can be performed during their lunch hour.

The surgeon behind the enhancement technique, which takes half an hour, claims it makes lips subtly plumped without risking a trout pout.

French cosmetic surgeon Dr Philippe Bellity is starting the treatment at the London Day Surgery Centre in Whetstone, with prices starting at £500, after it proved popular in Paris.

He said: "Lip enhancement has had a bad reputation because of all the trout pouts you see. I have refined the injection technique so that a nice result is guaranteed."

The procedure sees pin-prick injections of a few drops of hyaluronic acid solution into the top layer of the lip just under the skin, avoiding the muscle.
