One.Tel chief hits out at regulators

JODEE Rich, founder of collapsed Australian telco One.Tel, has criticised regulators who are suing him and three other directors for A$50m but decided not to take action against media heirs Lachlan Murdoch and James Packer, who were also on the company's board.

He disputes the Australian Securities and Investments Commission decision that the evidence supports the pair's claims that they had no knowledge of One.Tel's true financial position until its collapse with debts of over A$600m this year. Packer and Murdoch interests held more than 40% of One.Tel.
