Policewoman injured in drive-by shooting attack

A woman officer was injured in a drive-by shooting attack on a police patrol vehicle. Her shoulder was grazed by a bullet which pierced the bodywork.

The Pc, with a male colleague, was talking to some people in a car in Leytonstone early yesterday when shots were fired from a black Saab - later abandoned and set alight.

Two teenagers were later arrested but released.
