Porsche and Becks are splitting up ahead of move to England

Homeward bound: David Beckham is selling his Porsche ahead of a move to the Premier League
12 April 2012

David Beckham is selling his beloved Porsche on eBay ahead of his expected return to England.

The 35-year-old has spent the past two years cruising around Beverly Hills in the unique matt black Porsche 911 Convertible Turbo.

But with his love of new cars and a loan move to the Premier League pending, Beckham has decided to get rid of the "one non-smoking owner" vehicle.

He bought the Porsche in 2008 for £100,000 and then spent a further £50,000 having it customised.

The car was fitted with blacked-out headlights, special alloy wheels, a sports exhaust and emblazoned with the number 23 - Beckham's shirt number at LA Galaxy.

It also boasts heated front seats, parking assist and a six-CD sound system with enormous speakers fitted beneath the rear seats.

Beckham is expected to sign on loan for a Premier League club, with Spurs the favourites.
