£12m Lotto jackpot up for grabs

12 April 2012

An estimated jackpot of £12 million will be up for grabs in tomorrow's Lotto draw.

It is only the 28th double rollover in the 15 years since the launch of the National Lottery.

A Lottery spokesman said: "A £12 million jackpot would take the fear out of Halloween and you could be celebrating with your ghostly friends in your new haunted castle."

The last double rollover jackpot winners were Martyn and Sandra White from Luton who scooped £10.7 million in April this year.

If the jackpot is not claimed tomorrow night then there will be a triple rollover for only the fifth time.

Since the Lottery launched in November 1994 it has created 2,300 millionaires and has raised more than £23 billion for good causes.
