Saudi prince in court on murder charge

A Saudi prince is due to appear at the Old Bailey today accused of strangling his aide in a five-star hotel room.

Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz al Saud, 33, is expected to attend court for a bail hearing.

The body of his 32-year-old assistant, Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz, was discovered last week at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, central London.

Al Saud is charged with his murder and also faces an allegation of grievous bodily harm against the same man on January 22.
