SocGen boss questioned by police

DANIEL Bouton, chairman of French bank Societe Generale, was held for questioning by French police in a widening probe into money laundering between France and Israel.

Five other executives have been held, and three placed under legal supervision - including the SG executive in charge of fighting money laundering. SG denies any wrongdoing.
