The car that's not too Porsche to be pushed out of the way

The owner of this car in north London thought she was safe to park when she saw a notice saying yellow lines would be introduced on the road later this year.

But the next day the men with the yellow paint had already made their mark - either side of her Porsche.

Things got worse when a tow-truck turned up to lift the car out of the way, quickly followed by the return of the line painters who completed their work.

Scott Clark of Winchmore Hill, who witnessed the episode, said it was like something out of a Carry On movie.

"The car had been there for several weeks with the lines either side of it, but then these guys came back to finish the job. When they found the Porsche still there they winched it onto a truck, got out their paint pot and joined up the lines. It was priceless."
