Ultraframe under cloud in Britain

CONSERVATORIES maker Ultraframe lifted sales by 3% in the first quarter of its financial year beginning in October, thanks to gains by its US business.

Gloom, however, still hangs over its British operations, where sales fell by 8% against the same period last year. The shares lost 9p, or 4%, to 217p.
