London Underground is to press ahead with new Tube ticket office opening hours even though a bitter row over jobs remains unresolved.

LU said that from next Sunday ticket office staff will be redeployed to areas of stations where passengers "most value their help and reassurance".

LU said that all stations will be staffed while services are running and ticket offices retained.
