Wanted: The unknown girl who wrote hit

Ted Hynds12 April 2012

A teenage girl who wrote a potential hit song for the London Olympics is being hunted by a record company which "lost" her.

The 14-year-old's details were deleted by a power surge in a laptop. Now a reward has been offered to find the girl - believed to be from London.

Killer Records vice-president Colin Graham said: "We are desperate to find this girl. We get hundreds of random approaches and usually they have no merit, so initially hers wasn't dealt with seriously. It was only when I gave her words closer inspection did I realise they were real diamonds.

"There was something special about them and once put to music as 'London Loves You' we had a potential hit.

"From the reaction of DJs who have previewed the song we must find this kid. If anybody can help they should email us at london-loves-you.com."
