Whistler dog killing 'must be investigated'

A hundred sled dogs were slaughtered in Whistler, Canada, after bookings at an adventure company failed to materialise.

The manager of the local society for animal protection said the cull, after last year's winter Olympics, should be investigated.

Marcie Moriarty said some were shot, while others' throats were slit and then thrown into a mass grave.
