Bay Garnett joins ES Magazine as Fashion Director at Large
The incredible Rachel Weisz as you’ve never seen her before, shot and styled by ES Magazine’s NEW Fashion Director at Large, Bay Garnett.
As part of her role Bay will be shooting cover and main fashion stories for the magazine and will fulfil an ambassadorial role at fashion shows and events. She will also contribute feature ideas to the magazine. Garnett’s first project for ES Magazine is her cover shoot with Weisz. Garnett photographed and styled the six page story, published today.
One of the most influential figures in fashion, Bay Garnett’s career has spanned styling, editorial work and photography. Most recently she was contributing editor at British Vogue. Laura Weir, editor of ES Magazine, says:

As our readership continues to rise and we continue to outperform the market commercially, Bay joins at an exciting time for the magazine. From 2002-2004, Garnett was Style Director for Matthew Williamson. She has also acted as consultant to major brands including Louis Vuitton and Chloé.
She studied Art History and Modern History at Exeter University before gaining experience in galleries such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Pace Wildenstein in New York and working for photographic agency Art Department.
In 1997 she launched acclaimed anti-fashion magazine ‘Cheap Date’ with Kira Jolliffe, which showcased their love of thrifting. More recently the pair collaborated once again on Fanpages, a compilation of one-page fanzines published by Idea Books.
