Sarah Chapman Skinesis V Lift - review

Melanie McDonagh4 September 2014

Treatment: Sarah Chapman Skinesis V Lift.

Product: A high-tech facial to give an instant lift and stimulate collagen production.

Science: This is state-of-the-art stuff: a US radiofrequency generator (Endymed) heats up collagen fibres in the skin to make them contract, creating a lifting effect. But the treatment is not just high-tech bells and whistles. The technological bit is combined with Sarah Chapman’s own hands-on facial, including fingers fluttering over the skin, butterfly-style.

Results: My face looks unquestionably healthier and rosier and apparently will improve further if the treatment is continued for two months. But you know what? My skin perks up after Sarah’s really good standard facial, with the hands-on massage and lovely products — I drop off to sleep every time. I’d honestly be only too happy to settle for that. Plus, it’s cheaper.

Cost: £345 for the Skinesis V lift, 90 minutes; Sarah Chapman signature facial, from £125.

Where? Sarah Chapman Skinesis Clinic, 106 Draycott Avenue, SW3 (020 7589 9585, sarahchapman.net)
