Popstar Demi Lovato has been open about her past struggles with addiction. The former Disney star overdosed in August of last year.

She penned the song Sober about her experiences around the same time, singing, "Mama I'm so sorry I'm not sober anymore, Daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. To the ones who never left me we've been down this road before."

Now, Lovato is paying tribute to her late friend Thomas, who died after battling addiction, with a meaningful tattoo.
