Kendall Jenner is apparently having some trouble following California’s stay-at-home order.

Despite telling Vogue she was spending time in her Los Angeles home reading and enjoying her art collection, the reality TV star was caught on camera taking a casual seven-hour road trip to Sedona, Arizona, less than a week later.

Jenner was reportedly joined by NBA basketball player Devin Booker, and in footage obtained by TMZ, the two could be seen getting into the back of his Maybach after breaking at a rest stop.

Booker, who is reportedly friends with the 24-year-old, was not wearing a mask or any form of face covering, which was recommended to be worn in public by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since the beginning of April (and is even punishable by fine in some cities).

It was unclear if Jenner, who has a following of 127 million on Instagram, went mask-less on the road trip as well, though she did repost an older photo of herself in a surgical mask that a fan had shared.

The US has surpassed one million confirmed cases of COVID-19, with over 20,000 confirmed cases in Los Angeles County - where Jenner previously shared she was self-isolating.

This isn’t the first time Jenner has faced criticism during the coronavirus pandemic.

In March Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni called out Jenner for an Instagram story where she dismissed the severity of the virus despite the swift increase in reported cases.

“It’s so important to spread the right messages right away and raise awareness,” Ferragni said in response to infographics Jenner had shared.

“People that have such a huge voice like Kendall Jenner, please don’t underestimate the problem,” Ferragni added, tagging Jenner in the post.
