Lady Gaga took to Instagram to share some pre and post-show rituals for her Las Vegas residency, which includes a gruelling 5-10 minute dip in a bath full of ice.

The ‘Born This Way’ singer posted that before the show she does a “hard workout” and then swims “galactic” laps to prepare for her nightly residency, called Enigma and hosted at the Park Theatre.

She called herself “Gaga Phelps” in an ode to Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and posted a picture in a hot pink one-piece bathing suit.

The singer has an equally intense post-show routine.

The Grammy-winner told her 37.4 million followers that every night after her shows she take a 5-10 minute long ice bath, followed by a 20 minute long hot bath. She finishes all that up by wearing a compression suit packed with ice for 20 minutes.

The ‘Shallow’ singer shared her routine just hours after taking a tumble off the stage during one of her Enigma performances.

Enigma first took Las Vegas by storm in December 2018 and is slated to run until May 2020. In fact, the fan reaction to Gaga’s Vegas residency was so positive she added a second show called Jazz and Piano.

The Jazz and Piano show happens once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday.
