Actress Reese Witherspoon shared a photograph of herself with her son Deacon Phillippe on Instagram to wish him a happy birthday, showing the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

Plenty of Witherspoon's celebrity friends chimed in underneath the post - including Laura Dern, America Ferrera, Mindy Kaling, Kate Hudson and Rachel Zoe - which might just make him the most popular teenage boy alive.

One commenter wrote, "You look 16 right along with him! I need some of those genes" while another said, "He looks like your brother," with multiple exclamation points to get the point across.

Other commenters pointed out he looks a lot like his father, actor Ryan Phillippe.

The Cruel Intentions actor shared a picture of a Supreme bag to his Instagram story with the caption, "ready for you after school" and a black and white throwback shot of him with his son.

Deacon's older sister Ava shared her own message on Instagram with a loving caption, writing, "I couldn't have gotten any luckier than to have your humor, love, and patience in my life." Actress Yara Shahidi responded with heart eye emojis.
