Who makes the best running shoes?
Just as tennis courts start filling up around the time of Wimbledon, so the London Marathon (coming to a closed-off street near you this Sunday) inspires people to start pounding the pavements. As someone who has suffered on and off from runner’s knee since hobbling round the Marathon course in 2001, I suggest having your gait analysed by experts (try Runners Need in Holborn or the Nike Running Store in Covent Garden), who can then recommend the appropriate shoes for you.
