It's reigning men... party city as London celebrates first ever Men's Fashion Week

The capital’s menswear fraternity know how to throw party. Just ask model David Gandy who attended every single one of the post-show parties, events and cocktail receptions that took place at London’s inaugural “men’s only” fashion week.

Hitting the ground running with an event at The Corinthia, online fashion mecca Mr Porter was first out of the blocks on Friday night with a decadent soiree which was co-hosted by style magazine Esquire and attended by everyone from Alexa Chung and Florence Welch to Mad Men’s John Hamm.

On Saturday it fell to Selfridges to hand out the champagne. Having enlisted the services of rapper come honorary fashion industry member Tinie Tempah, the store celebrated the launch of his clothing line Disturbia, with a reception attended by Rio Ferdinand, JLS and David Gandy (of course). However all this was but a warm up for Sunday’s hectic schedule which took the capital’s menswear industry from drinks at Burberry’s Knightsbridge flagship to a dinner hosted by GQ’s Dylan Jones, at the newly opened Bulgari hotel.

Burberry models Edie Campbell and Tali Lennox were amongst those who turned up to watch indie hero Miles Kane perform at the Burberry shindig, hosted by actor Eddie Redmayne, while Benedict Cumberbatch and the lovely Lulu Kennedy were at the Bulgari hotel to support Dylan Jones.
