The Duchess of Cambridge only celebrating her 36th birthday yesterday, however, the mum-of-two was back to work as usual today.
Kate, who is pregnant with her third child, stepped out this afternoon to attend her first royal engagement of 2018.
She was visiting the Reach Academy Feltham, a school in west London which works closely with the mental health charity Place2Be - an organisation that Kate has been a patron of since 2013.
For the occasion Kate layered a chic midi length military-style coat by Hobbs over a floral dress by maternity brand Seraphine.
As per usual the royal's look was perfectly coordinated head-to-toe; she accessorised with a matching navy clutch bag, gloves and Jimmy Choo heels.
Furthermore, there's no doubt that military style outerwear is on trend this season as Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana have all recently tapped into the trend.
Unfortunately, Kate's Hobbs 'Gianna' coat has already sold out, but there are numerous high-street alternatives to fill the void.
We'd say Kate has managed to accomplish a strong (and very stylish) start to 2018 - even if she does now have Meghan Markle to content with in the style stakes.
