Excitement was growing over London’s biggest ever “men’s only” fashion week as two promising young designers joined the catwalk schedule.

Now in its third season, London Collections: Men - which kicks off on June 16 – will see newcomers Bobby Abley and Alan Taylor make their catwalk debut.

They will join cutting edge designer Craig Green at Fashion East’s MAN show which is staged in collaboration with Topman.

Green hit the headlines last season when he unveiled a series of drift-wood inspired head pieces on the catwalk.

More cutting edge designs are expected from Abley, a Ravensbourne College graduate who has created headwear for Lady Gaga and from Taylor, whose work blends traditional heritage techniques with a contemporary approach to silhouette.

The designers join a starry cast which includes Jimmy Choo, Burberry and Dolce and Gabbana.
