Iron Ladies take note, this season’s hottest hue is a vivacious Royal blue. Inspired by Margaret Thatcher who – thanks to Meryl Streep –reappeared in the nation’s conscious earlier this year, Thatcher blue looks best teamed with stark white separates or navy. Preen’s woollen skirt suit may come trimmed with delicate lemon lace but it’s certainly not for wallflowers.
