It was the undeniably the dress of the summer.

All over the country, Zara’s infamous polka dot dress was the one to wear. In fact, it was widely so bought that its popularity was reportedly one of the factors in a 5 per cent sales increase for Zara’s parent company, Inditex.

Such was its notoriety that it was worn by the likes of Instagram mega-stars Zoe Sugg and Lily Pebbles, and almost everybody else on social media.

Now the Spanish retailer appears to have done it again, this time with a red leopard print iteration of the dress.

This new version of the cult dress has been popping up amongst Instagram’s fashionistas like moles in a Whac-A-Mole, and we have to say – it’s ticking all the boxes.

It's made such an impact that it’s even gained a mention on the polka dot dress’s dedicated fan Instagram, Hot4thespot, which has now amassed a following of 25,000.

The earth palette and the flowing silhouette make it a brilliant addition to an autumn wardrobe and the £49.99 price tag only adds to its appeal. Race you to the checkout.
