15 stunning shots from the best street photographers in the world

New book explores the true meaning of candid photos
1/16

Unlike landscape, fashion or portrait photography, street photography has a magical way of capturing the emotional and social context of a moment.

To celebrate this subtle magic, writer, editor and photographer Rob Yarham has curated a book filled with images from 16 of the world’s best street photographers.

Called Masters of Street Photography, the hard cover coffee table book features the work of notable names like the Bragdon Brothers, Melissa Breyer, Giacomo Brunelli, Paul Burgess, Sally Davies, George Georgiou, Ash Shinya Kawaoto, Jay Maisel, Jesse Marlow, Dimitri Mellos, Rui Palha, Ed Peters, Alan Schaller, Marina Sersale, Alexey Titarenko and Martin U Waltz.

With images and interviews strewn across the pages, Yarham has also asked the photographers to provide technical details and revealing captions to help give insight into their images.

The reader is also given an insight into the photographer’s working practices, from their career paths to their biggest inspiration, to the trope, tricks, equipment and techniques they use for their images.
